Whether you have some rock climbing experience or are complete beginners, there’s no place like Yosemite to climb a rock! We work with the only organization authorized to lead and teach climbing inside Yosemite National Park. Every guide is a wilderness First Responder or holds a Wilderness EMT certification.
Private Guided Rock Climb – 6 hours
- $385 for 1 person
- $260/person for 2 people
- $200/person for 3 people
- (Plus $9/person for climbing shoe hire)
This is a private lesson where your guide will tailor the day to your wishes and abilities. You will learn Yosemite-specific techniques to help you get more from your climbing experience. With ample time for one-on-one instruction, you’ll learn as you climb.

Beginner Rock Climbing Lesson – 7.5 hours
- $200/person
- (Plus $9/person for climbing shoe hire)
This introduction to rock climbing class is designed to be everyone’s first outdoor climbing lesson. Learn the basics, do a bunch of climbing and rappelling, up to 60 feet high. There will be a maximum of six students in the class.

- Minimum age 12 if no supervising adult also taking the lesson
- Minimum age 10 with a supervising adult also taking the lesson
