• Standard Raft (up to 10 guests):

• Premium Raft (up to 6 guests):
  $135/Person

Bounce through rapids like Smelter, Sawmill, Santa Rita, and Pinball and enjoy a different view of historic Durango as you raft down the Animas River. Your guide will share stories of local traditions, talk about history of the region, and help you spot wildlife – you may see deer, beaver, fox, birds of prey, and river otters.

No experience is necessary; a full safety orientation will be provided, and, if needed, wetsuits and wetsuit boots can be rented when you check in for your trip (recommended for May and June trips when temperatures may still be cool).

The total time for this trip is 4 hours, 3 of which will be on the river.

During spring high water season, you will experience Class I, II, and III rapids; during low water, there will be only one Class III rapid.

For a smaller guide to guest ratio, choose the premium raft option and have a maximum of six plus the guide in your raft.
