- $15/Child for Jr. Paleontologist Program (Ages 4-12)
Take a 30-minute self-guided tour around the actual bonebed of the Mammoth Site then roam through the Exhibit Hall and view the Laboratory where the fossils are prepared.
If you have a little dino-lover in your family, add the Junior Paleontologist Program (ages 4-12) and he/she can learn the skills of a real paleontologist in a 1 1/2-hour educational simulated dig. Paleontological excavation techniques are taught, including identification of replica mammoth and giant short-faced bear fossils. Replicas are buried in a special building adjacent to the sinkhole building.
- Junior Dig runs June 1st through August 15th only
