Liz is British and lives in Southern California with her husband Andi and their two rescue cats. She holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Liverpool and spent the majority of her life living in the UK county of Oxfordshire before relocating to California in 2019.
Liz loves to travel and to experience new places and wildlife. Some of her most memorable experiences include seeing bears in Canada, whale-watching from Boston Harbor, visiting an orangutan sanctuary in Borneo and visiting an alpaca ranch in Utah. She has also traveled within South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as taking regular trips to France and Greece.
Liz and her husband love to take camping trips – in the UK they owned a VW campervan which they used to explore the English countryside, and they now take trips in the US with their Wolf Pup travel trailer. Through their travels, Liz has fallen in love with America’s national parks; particularly Zion, Arches, Yosemite and Joshua Tree. Prior to moving to California, Liz worked for the University of Oxford for nine years managing student funding and has also worked in local government human resources.
Liz loves contributing to other travelers’ camping experiences. Among other things, Liz is responsible for data and system management, booking campgrounds and excursions for our travelers, and liaising with our suppliers.
