This Class II+ river trip starts with a bang right at the base of Athabasca Falls before heading down the canyon, where the first set of rapids is only seconds away. Enjoy spectacular views of the Athabasca River valley, and end with a leisurely float through a mix of calmer water and gentle rapids to the take out. River time is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes and round-trip time is 3 hours. Neoprene wetsuits, neoprene boots, splash jackets, and life jackets are provided. All trips are in 6-8 person-guided rafts and operate rain or shine.

Depending on river levels at the start and the end of the season, this excursion may not be available in June or September. River levels vary year to year – our supplier may offer an alternative if this affects your travel dates.
