Overview

Hot Springs! Rainforest! Ocean Coast! Mountains! The variety of ecosystems in this single region is astounding. Begin your trip in Seattle and head to Port Angeles, a harbor city on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Then focus on Olympic National Park, starting with a visit to the Sol Duc Hot Springs to enjoy relaxing hot waters. Next, hike amongst moss clad coniferous trees in the temperate rainforest. Wrap up your trip by exploring some of the 73 miles of rugged Washington coastline with sandy beaches and tide pools that are home to fascinating sea creatures.

Seattle – 1 night
Check into your hotel and then visit the Chihuly Garden and Glass or the Space Needle.
Seattle to Port Angeles: 124 miles


Port Angeles – 1 night
Take a sea kayaking tour or visit Native American museums. This will be your base for exploring Hurricane Ridge.
Port Angeles to Lake Crescent: 22 miles


Lake Crescent – 2 nights
The pristine waters of the deep, glacially carved lake are ideal for swimming and paddling. Enjoy a quiet night at a rustic resort.
Lake Crescent to Sol Duc Hot Springs: 41 miles


Sol Duc Hot Springs – 1 night
Hike to the Sol Duc Falls and then relax in the mineral hot spring.
Sol Duc to the Pacific Coast: 52 miles

Olympic Wilderness Coast Tour

Spend a memorable day hiking and tidepooling on the beautiful beaches of the Olympic Coast. Your experienced guide will collect you from your campground and drive you to visit at least two beaches to see some of the unique elements of Olympic National Park. The tour will involve around 4-5 hours of exploration with a picnic at lunchtime.
