This group tour climbs atop the high backcountry of Zion National Park’s Kolob Terrace section in an open-air vehicle that seats up to 12 people. You’ll traverse onto Smith Mesa or Hurricane Mesa and enjoy spectacular views of Zion’s kaleidoscope of colored rock. Stop on the Mesa’s edge and look east towards 2,500 foot cliffs, that reflect the sunlight. Learn from your experienced guide about the ecosystem, geology, history, wildlife, and local folklore. The tour features frequent stops for photo opportunities, wildlife, and Native American wall paintings.
