Crys grew up in Southern California, taking family trips to national and state parks in their Coleman pop-up camper. Since then, her love of travel and learning has taken Crys around the globe and to every U.S. state. She is a proud returned United States Peace Corps volunteer. She lives near Yosemite National Park, with life partner Shay, their toddler, and their dog.

Crys holds a BA in Political Science with a focus on international relations from California State University of Fullerton. Prior to joining the T&T team, Crys was Chief of Operations for an international service-learning organization providing students and families with experiential education through responsible and ethical international travel. Crys’s responsibilities on the T&T team include booking campsites, preparing itineraries for our travelers, and managing our customer feedback process.

In her free time, you can find Crys trail running, listening to vinyl records while cooking, mountain biking, slacklining, tent camping in remote places, and appreciating all wild things.
